To keep your computer safe you should change your password regularly  in-case that you get hacked or if someone gets your password. So they cant do as much damage as they could of if you hadn't of changed it. Don't tell anyone your vital information just to keep safe.Make sure you always log out because some websites leave you logged in and someone else could go on the website and get onto your account because your still logged in.Also most WIFI hubs are encrypted which means its impossible for anyone to hack it.

unit 14 d1

iPhone-the iPhone is very good as it comes with 3g  so you can access the internet and download music and apps where ever you are.The bad thing though the more apps and music you start to download and more memory you use up  the battery wont last very long.Overall i think it still a very good phone.

basic laptop-Getting a basic laptop would only be good if you only wanted to use stuff like word and power point, but because it is a basic laptop the battery life properly wouldn't be very good on it. anything more than power point and word and programs like that also a longer battery life  you would need a more advanced laptop.Over all i think a basic laptop is only good for short term use.

basic iPod Is alright if you only want to put music on it off iTunes. But  if you want internet apps and a camera, you would need a more advanced iPod.Over all i think the basic iPod would be alright if you used it at work for music so it wouldn't matter if it got broke.

tablet fire-Is like a iPad mini just alot cheaper which would be good for journalist because if it got broke it wouldn't matter as much.It also has internet connection and an app store and you can download books onto it.But it doesnt have a very big memory or long battery life.Over all i think the tablet fire would be good for use at work but you would be better off with an iPad when your at home.

unit 14 p1/p2

  • Student who needs a mobile phone with internet access.-could have a phone like a blackberry , iPhone. all of these phones also have cameras. with the iPhone you can also access iTunes and it has and app world.the blackberry has blackberry messenger where you can text other people that have a blackberry for free and this also has an app world. The memory on the blackberry wont be as good as a iPhone. On the iPhone you can get all different sized memory. But neither of them have very good battery life.
  • Self employed builder who is new to technology and has £600 to spend on a laptop for invoicing.-They could get any basic laptop that has word. This would still be able to get on the internet but it would properly have a very poor battery life a smaller screen and memory.A laptop that would be good would be a ULTRA SMALL 1.6GHZ Superb Mini Notebook.
  • Journalist who needs a electronic tablet when on location-They should properly get the tablet fire its alot cheaper and it still has internet access and an app word. But the kindle fire has a worse battery life than say a iPad a smaller screen and not a very big memory unit.
  • A factory worker who wants to listen to an MP3 player on the bus-They could get a very basic iPod all it needs to do is link up to Tunes. This wouldnt have an app store and the battery life wouldn't be as good as an iPod touch.
